MLH of Amarillo would like to take the time to update everyone on the 2017 Heart Glo. We know some of you have inquired about a date for the run this year and we sincerely apologize for taking this long to give an answer. Planning an event like the Heart Glo does take a great amount of time and work from all of our families and members. This year, due to factors beyond on our control, we were unable to start the planning process early enough to have the Heart Glo in May as we have done in past years. As a group, we have decided to postpone for 2017. We are looking into possibly having hosting a different fundraising event this fall, and we will be having the Heart Glo in the spring of 2018.
We truly value the people, families and business that sponsor, donate or participate in our events for Mended Little Hearts of Amarillo. We thank you for your generous donations to our non-profit organization. It is only because of these donations that we may continue to provide support to all families affected by CHD. For this reason, we ask that you please consider making a donation to MLH of Amarillo in honor of a Heart Kid or in memory of a Heart Angel.
