We would like to take a moment to thank our donors for their continued support of Mended Little Hearts of Amarillo. We would not be able to accomplish our goal of supporting CHD families in the Texas Panhandle without the support of our donors!!

MLH of Amarillo would like to take the time to update everyone on the 2017 Heart Glo. We know some of you have inquired about a date for the run this year and we sincerely apologize for taking this long to give an answer. Planning an event like the Heart Glo does take a great amount of time and work from all of our families and members. This year, due to factors beyond on our control, we were unable to start the planning process early enough to have the Heart Glo in May as we have done in past years. As a group, we have decided to postpone for 2017. We are looking into possibly having hosting a different fundraising event this fall, and we will be having the Heart Glo in the spring of 2018.
We truly value the people, families and business that sponsor, donate or participate in our events for Mended Little Hearts of Amarillo. We thank you for your generous donations to our non-profit organization. It is only because of these donations that we may continue to provide support to all families affected by CHD. For this reason, we ask that you please consider making a donation to MLH of Amarillo in honor of a Heart Kid or in memory of a Heart Angel. Donations can be made by clicking “donate” on the left side of our main page, or you may make a donation by mailing a check directly to MLH of Amarillo, PO Box 7144 Amarillo, Texas 79114. If you make a donation larger than $100, we will be recognizing you on our facebook page and website.
We will update you on upcoming events on our public Facebook page: Mended Little Hearts of Amarillo
Thank you again for your support!
A Heartbeat…for many parents, hearing the heartbeat of their unborn child becomes their first, loving bond to that child. It’s no wonder, then, that discovering that their child has a heart defect, whether diagnosed in the womb, shortly after birth or during childhood, can be devastating. Mended Little Hearts, a support program for parents of children with heart defects and heart disease, is dedicated to inspiring hope in those who care for the littlest heart patients of all. Mended Little Hearts offers resources and a caring support network as families find answers and move forward to find healing and hope.
Mended Little Hearts of Amarillo is one of more than 90 groups nationwide, providing support to heart families in the Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma Panhandle and surrounding areas. We were chartered in 2009 and have been steadily growing since!
